Former Hollywood interns: what they're doing now

Annika Sell (Anni) (2009) has just finished working on ‘Cloud Atlas’. She was part of the AD's Team that supported directors Tom Tykwer and The Wachowskis, who co-directed the movie, which starred Tom Hanks, Susan Sarandon and Halle Berry. She has just been hired on the next big project shooting at UFA/Babelsberg: Brian DePalma's new movie 'Passion'.

Anne Facompre (2009) has just started working as a freelance film journalist for three clients in Germany, enabling to combine her experience at Fox, her film education, and her recent journalism studies.

Jess Etherington (2011) is currently working as Project Development Assistant at a Leicester-based creative communications company, Channel 20-20. This is the company that makes, amongst other things, the titles for the BBC's 'Live at the Apollo'.

Philippe Audi-Dor (2011) is currently training as a director, whilst Charlotte Balnave (2010) has been working for media companies in London over the past year.

Finally, Hannah White (2010) is currently working with the Institute for Screen Industries Research (ISIR) at Nottingham, co-ordinating ISIR activities.

Both Anni and Katie will be coming back to the University of Nottingham later this year as part of the series of industry speakers organised by the Creative Student Network.

Congratulations to all on a successful start to their careers.
