Frequently asked questions

Why should I study at Nottingham?

Nottingham is a campus university in pleasant surroundings and in a city which provides a wealth of facilities and activities. We offer a wide range of courses that study different aspects of the ancient world and none of which require previous knowledge of the subject. We are committed to the highest possible levels of provision for students and were awarded the maximum score of 24 in the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education review of the Department in October 2000. You will find our courses stimulating, and you will enjoy yourself too - as our students will tell you on Open Days!
