Expertise Summary

Apart from language teaching and materials review and development, I have experience in grant writing and project development and coordination for educational and non-educational projects. Before going into teaching, I was a Strategic Planner, and worked with a number of governmental and educational bodies in Southeast Asia, as well as with the GTZ, the German executive organ for development cooperation.

My main interest in teaching is employing a critical approach, evaluating its potential limitations and how the concept of criticality can be applied in students' work. I also have an interest in various aspects of linguistics and their impact on language perception, acquisition and production.
