Below is an approximate guide to entry requirements for students from Hungary for admission to The University of Nottingham at the following levels.
Applicants from Hungary are normally not required to complete a foundation course.

Students are required to hold the Erettsegi/Matura.
Offers may range from an overall average of at least 85% in intermediate maturity exams with 2 subjects at higher level with a minimum grade of 60% to an overall average of at least 60% in intermediate maturity exams for the least competitive courses.
A typical Erettsegi/Matura requirement for a course with a BBB A level entry requirement is an overall average grade of overall average of at least 80% in intermediate maturity exams.
Students taking A levels or the IB should refer to the online undergraduate prospectus for entry requirements.
Students taking APs or SATIIs should refer to entry requirements for the USA.
An egyetemi oklevel, alapképzés or bachelors degree from a recognised university will be considered for masters entry.
A foiskola oklevel will only be considered in individual cases when very high grades have been obtained.
Typical minimum grade requirements from Hungarian universities are 3 to 4 out of 5.

A mesterképzés (masters degree) and alapképzés / egyetemi oklevel (bachelors degree) from a recognised university are usually required for PhD entry.
Exceptional students with an egyetemi oklevel may be considered for PhD entry without a masters qualification.
For all research degrees, we recommend that you make initial enquiries with a potential supervisor or the relevant University of Nottingham school / department before applying. A research proposal is required when submitting your application.
To study at Nottingham, you will need to demonstrate a required level of English language proficiency. In addition to the more common language qualifications - such as IELTS, TOEFL, (I)GCSE, O level, IB and A and AS level English - the University also considers a number of other English language qualifications for admission.
