We are part of Information Services at The University of Nottingham.
Anyone can view our printed, manuscript and archive collections at King's Meadow Campus.
This exhibition looks at the life and work of D H Lawrence (1885-1930) and how widely differing appreciations of Lawrence have developed over the decades. The origins of popular assumptions about Lawrence are revealed alongside the research of literary critics and biographers. The display draws on the University of Nottingham’s Lawrence Collections, using original manuscripts, photographs, letters and artistic representations to show the multi-faceted nature of Lawrence’s story.
At the Weston Gallery, Lakeside Arts Centre, University Park from Friday 4 May until Sunday 16 September 2012.
