Visiting the University
Nottingham is a multi campus university - each campus has its own distinct character and identity. We welcome visitors at any time of year, whether you would like to visit the University on an official Open Day or Campus Tour Day or take advantage of our open campus policy.

If you are unable to attend an Open Day or Campus Tour Day and want to visit the University on an informal basis you are most welcome to. The Visitor Centre in the Trent Building on University Park have maps and self guided tour booklets to help you find your way around and explore the grounds of University Park.

Visits to individual schools & faculties
If you would like to visit a particular school * or Hall
of Residence you should make arrangements in advance directly with
the School or Hall Manager.
*Please note: If you apply to the Medical School and receive an offer
you will be invited to one of their subject specific Open Days.
Undergraduate events
In addition to our Open Days and Campus Tour Days, the University hosts additional events for undergraduate students, including Summer Schools, Masterclasses and Taster Days. Those living close to Nottingham may be able to participate in outreach events and activities.
Additionally, many of the University Academic Schools offer their own Open Days for applicants, which may be linked to formal or informal interviews. These opportunities are described within the individual school entries in the Undergraduate Prospectus.

Visits from schools and colleges
Each year we welcome school and college groups on to University Park campus for general visits. We can offer welcome talks, guided tours and individual programmes tailored to suit the needs of each school. For further information on the wide variety of activities available for school groups, please visit the schools and colleges liaison pages.
